Rari Nantes - What a Weekend!

Rari Nantes - What a Weekend!

National stages, water polo, and Italian national team, so many commitments between 8th and 9th June at the Sterlino pool

We have a weekend full of commitments awaiting us at the Sterlino pool, which will be the stage for a series of events that put Rari Nantes Bologna and its facility at the center of national water polo.

Three events will take place between 8th and 9th June at the facility on via Murri.

The most anticipated event is undoubtedly the national round of the Allievi round of 16, where Peter Cenni's boys, first in Emilia Romagna, will face Bogliasco 1951 (3rd in Liguria), Pol. CSI Pisa (4th in Tuscany), and Zero9 (9th in Lazio).

It starts on Sunday, 8th June, at 3:30 pm with the draw of the matches, then at 4:45 pm and 6:15 pm the first day.

On Monday, 9th June, there will be two more days, with matches in the morning at 9 am and 10:30 am, and in the afternoon at 5 pm and 6:30 pm for the third and final match.

But that's not all because also on Sunday, 8th June, at 3:45 pm at the Sterlino pool on via Murri, the PallanuoTiAmo Summer Edition will take place. For all boys and girls born between 2014 and 2017, it will be an opportunity to dive into our facility and try to play water polo.

An interesting initiative that also gives a chance to beginners who want to try their hand at our sport.

To close the trio of events, just to save the best for last, on Sunday, 8th June, the senior women's national water polo team, in preparation for international events, will train at the Sterlino pool.

For our girls participating in the Serie A2 championship and for the many young players in Andrea Posterivo's squad, it will be an opportunity to see and study closely the best national players. Among them will be our Olimpia Sesena, a goalkeeper born and raised in Rari Nantes, who has been defending the goal for Sis Roma and the Italian national team for a couple of seasons.

So, with so many events awaiting us, we look forward to seeing you at the Sterlino pool for the Allievi round, for PallanuoTiAmo, and to watch the training of the Italian national team.
