Men’s Second Division: Ciutat de Palma and Poble Nou Earn Promotion and Will Play in the Final
The two teams that have secured promotion to the Men’s First Division for the 2025–26 season are Ciutat de Palma and CN Poble Nou. Both clubs won their respective semifinal series and will now face each other in the final to determine the overall champion of the Men’s Second Division.
Ciutat de Palma achieved promotion after a thrilling series against CN Helios. In the first leg, played in Zaragoza, the team from Palma lost 11–10. However, in the return leg at home, they managed to turn the tie around with a 13–10 victory, resulting in a 23–21 aggregate score.
CN Poble Nou also secured promotion in a closely contested semifinal against CN Godella. After a 9–9 draw in the first leg in Valencia, the Barcelona-based team clinched a 10–8 win at home, earning their spot in the final with a 19–17 aggregate score.
The final between Ciutat de Palma and CN Poble Nou will be played over two legs. The first leg is scheduled for this Saturday, May 31, in Barcelona, and the second leg will take place on June 7 in Palma.
