Exciting Update: 2026 Queensland State Titles Announced

Water Polo Queensland (WPQ) is proud to announce the dates and venue for the 2026 Queensland State Titles, set to take place at the Sleeman Sports Complex in Brisbane this coming January. 

Following recent changes to the national calendar—specifically the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships (AYWPC) now permanently held in April—WPQ has adapted its schedule to continue delivering outstanding competitive opportunities for our community.

2026 Queensland State Titles Dates:

14&U & 18&U: January 12-15, 2026
12&U & 16&U: January 17-20, 2026
Opens Division: TBC (based on team nominations)

While we understand that this shift touches the summer holiday period, WPQ is committed to ensuring our athletes, coaches, families, clubs and schools have access to both premier events without compromise. 

This update reflects our ongoing dedication to excellence, adapability, and putting Queensland athletes first. Thank you to our clubs, schools and families for your continued support, we can't wait to see the energy and talent on display in January.
