The company Pro Recco Nuoto e Pallanuoto SSD A RL, in the meeting held today, accepted the resignations of the directors and appointed the lawyer Luca Gratteri as sole director.
The extraordinary assembly also approved the modification of the statute, integrating sporting activity with the identification, financing and implementation of initiatives of social interest in the territory of Recco and surrounding areas.
This is the statutory commitment that will characterize the Pro Recco Nuoto e Pallanuoto SSD A RL company starting today and which will develop into two macro areas: educational and recreational activities for children, teenagers and young people. Creation of centers dedicated to the elderly, both within privately owned residences and in public activities.
All this responds to a precise will of the chairman of the Orlean Invest group Gabriele Volpi - already made official on the occasion of the announcement of the disengagement from the management of the competitive activity of Pro Recco last 5 July - today launched with the approved amendment to the statute at the extraordinary meeting. The latter also proposed and approved the creation of a committee of wise men who will have the task of evaluating and approving the various interventions among those previously listed.
The task of the committee will be to submit to the sole administrator the various initiatives judged to be most compliant with the new statute, drawn up following the indications of Gabriele Volpi. For each of them, the spending ceiling will initially be set at €15,000.
After twenty years of unparalleled competitive successes with Pro Recco, a new chapter opens in the group's chairman's commitment to the territory and the inhabitants of Recco.
The aim of the new guidelines approved today is to implement - with a timetable and a business plan constantly updated and verifiable by citizens - initiatives destined to last over time. Much more than any exciting sporting feat.
As for the first team of Pro Recco, the management disengagement of the Orlean Invest group and its chairman is confirmed, without prejudice to the hope that buyers capable of at least partially taking over the legacy of Gabriele Volpi.
To facilitate this transition phase, the resigning president of Pro Recco Nuoto e Polo Waterpolo SSD A RL Maurizio Felugo will proceed with the establishment of a newco called "Recco Waterpolo" which will ensure the registration of the team in the A1 series championship and will set the its activity initially focusing on young talents.
The players currently under contract with Pro Recco Nuoto e Polo Watero SSD A RL are left free to seek a different professional arrangement, without prejudice to compliance with the existing contracts until a solution that satisfies all interested parties is found.
The top competitive activity will not be guaranteed by the Pro Recco Nuoto e Polo Wateroto SSD A RL company, as previously announced.
