Dominant Croatia against Hungary - Croatian Water Polo Federation

In the 2nd round of the A group of the international tournament for players under 16 in Trebinje (Bosnia and Herzegovina), another victory for the Croatian national team. After defeating Montenegro on Monday (10:8), Croatia was extremely dominant against Hungary on Tuesday.
Our young team won by 5 goals (16:11), but the lead was even higher during the match. At one point in the third quarter, Croatia was leading 12:4, and in the final quarter, less than three minutes before the end, the score was 15:7.



Essentially, the only thing the opposing team managed to do in terms of score was take an initial minimal lead of 1:0, which was however nullified towards the end of the quarter, with Croatia taking the lead at 2:1 (goals by Vlaho and Skejić). Nardo Skejić, with 6 goals, was the top scorer and standout player of the match.

In the next match, the clash of the 3rd round of the A group, Croatia will play against the Serbia team on Wednesday (April 16) at 12:45 PM.
