Champions League Men – group stage / Day 1: Marseille wins at home

For its first match of the season in the Champions League, Marseille did not miss its appointment. The Marseillais won against Jadran Herceg Novi 13-11 (4-4/4-3/2-1/3-3). The two teams fought a tough and very physical battle, trading blows from start to finish. Fortunately, the Provençaux were able to show composure in defense and opportunism in attack against the Montenegrins who fought until the final whistle. The Marseillais' next match will be on Wednesday, October 16 in Budapest, against VASAS.
