Encouraging messages for the Men's National Team, great victory 10-9 against Spain

Great victory on Italian soil for our Men's National Water Polo team. The team of Thodoris Vlahos defeated Spain 10-9 in their debut match at the international tournament held in the city of Trapani, on Friday (20/6).

The game was part of the preparation for the World Championship in Singapore, and the Greek team sent encouraging messages. Our international players presented a good image in the defensive sector (despite the absence of Dimitris Skoumpakis) with Manos Zerdevas making important saves.

In the offensive sector, Stelios Argyropoulos Kanakakis played a leading role (returning to the National Team after his injury), who along with Dinos Genidounias helped the Greek team overturn the score (7-5) with a consecutive 4-0 lead to 9-7 (2.37 before the end of the game).

Tomorrow, Saturday (21/6, 19:30) Thodoris Vlahos' team will face the tournament host Italy, who earlier lost 12-10 to Hungary.
