Serbia finishes tournament in Šabac with victory over the Netherlands
The Olympic champions concluded the "Serbia 2025" tournament in Šabac with three wins.
In the last round, Serbia defeated the Netherlands in a high-scoring match with a score of 20-14 (3-5, 7-4, 7-2, 3-3).
The Dutch team led 4-1 and 5-3 in the first quarter. In the second quarter, it was already evident who the favorite was, as Serbia led 10-9 at halftime. The key difference was made by the Serbian team in the third quarter. Dušan Mandić played for the first time in the tournament, joining the team in Šabac training, and scored three goals. The top scorers with four goals each were Nikola Lukić and Vasilije Martinović.
Romania finished second, France third, and the Netherlands fourth.
Starting from Monday, Serbia will continue training in Trebinje for ten days before heading to a tournament in Budapest.
