David Martín: "The playoffs are very interesting, this format gives them a lot of value"
Surprise Guest During the Broadcast of the First Match of the Men's División de Honor Final
The Spanish men’s national team head coach, David Martín, made a surprise appearance (as he often does) during the first match of the grand final between Zodiac CN Atlètic-Barceloneta and KEIO CN Sabadell, closely following the game’s progress.
At halftime, the coach of Spain’s men’s team, current World Cup champions, spoke live on LEW/RFEN microphones, sharing his thoughts on the series. His words could be enjoyed live on RTVE Play, Esport 3, and Mundo Deportivo.
“The playoffs are very exciting; this format adds a lot of value. Fighting for the title, for European spots, and to avoid relegation. We’re filling up the pools, which is what we want — to put on a great show. Congratulations to all the teams for the fight,” said Martín.
Regarding the upcoming Final Four, in which Zodiac CNAB will participate, the coach stated:
“Having Spanish teams in the final is, in my opinion, a luxury. Barceloneta has shown this year that they have a team capable of winning the competition and are among the favorites. Then it’s two matches and anything can happen. We wish them the best.”
