End of season spectacles in Romanian water polo: Bucharest hosts the decisive tournaments of the National Superleague and the Second League - Romanian Water Polo Federation
From May 10th to 11th, 2025, the Floreasca Pool in Bucharest becomes the main stage for the latest battles of the current water polo season, by organizing the Final Tournament 1 of the Suzuki National Superleague (places 5-7) and Final Tournament 2 of the Second League (places 1-4 and 5-7). The event is organized under the auspices of the Romanian Water Polo Federation and brings together teams with high ambitions that will compete for honorable rankings at the end of the championship.
Double tournament, same passion
The competition highlights two valuable divisions, offering a complete picture of the future and present of this sport in Romania. In the Suzuki National Superleague – the elite competition – the podium for places 5-7 will be decided, while in the Second League, where the stake is the promotion and confirmation of young talents, teams will battle for positions 1-4 and 5-7.
This tournament structure offers a balanced competitive framework, where each team has the opportunity to prove its progress, determination, and cohesion accumulated throughout the season.
