`ZODIAC CNAB-KEIO SABADELL | The grand final of the Men's Honor Division is underway!

The moment of truth has arrived. Time to decide who will be crowned champion and raise the 2024/25 Men’s División de Honor trophy high. Zodiac CNAB, winners of the last 19 editions, or KEIO CN Sabadell, runners-up the past two seasons—face to face.

The top two teams from the regular season will battle it out in a best-of-three series, with CNAB holding home-pool advantage for a potential third game. All matches will be broadcast live on RTVE Play, Esport 3, Mundo Deportivo, and the LEW website.

Already qualified for the Champions League Final Four (May 30–June 1 in Malta), Zodiac CNAB is aiming to claim its 20th consecutive league title. Two straight decades of national dominance—an extraordinary feat. Led by Elvis Fatovic, they are clear favorites once again, up against a KEIO CN Sabadell side coming off a grueling third game against CN Barcelona and unable to beat CNAB in any of their four meetings this season.

They’ve faced off four times: first in the Spanish Super Cup (15-8 for CNAB), twice in the regular league (13-11 at Sant Sebastià and 10-17 at Can Llong), and once more in the final of the Copa del Rey held at CNAB’s pool (5-14).

QUIM COLET REMAINS CONFIDENT

It’s a massive challenge for Sabadell, but they remain hopeful and aim to push Fatovic’s team to the edge. “I believe each match will have its own story. The first one catches us right after playing the third game against CNB. You never know if that’s an advantage or a disadvantage. I don’t think it will hurt us. It will be a final-like game. It’s true that this year, in direct matchups with them, we’ve only truly competed evenly in one. We hope and aim to be competitive and see where that takes us. Against teams that are, on paper, stronger and favorites, the key is knowing how to compete—and that might give you a chance to stay close and win. In our minds, the goal is to push Barceloneta to their limit,” says Quim Colet, head coach of KEIO Sabadell.

Zodiac CNAB has only lost one official match this entire season—a remarkable stat. They've won the rest across the league, cup, super cup, and Champions League. KEIO Sabadell, for their part, reached the Euro Cup semifinals after a strong campaign. The excitement is guaranteed.
