The 2025 Edition of the National Under-18 Women's Water Polo Championship has crowned its winners - Romanian Water Polo Federation
Today concluded the National Under-18 Women's Water Polo Championship, an exceptional event that brought together the most talented young female water polo players in the country. The competition was a true demonstration of dedication, technique, teamwork spirit, and respect for the values of sports.
The Romanian Water Polo Federation extends sincere congratulations to all participating teams for the effort, courage, and determination they showed in every match. Through their performances, these female athletes promise a bright future for Romanian water polo.
🏆 First Place was won by CSM Unirea Alba Iulia, which demonstrated excellent technical-tactical preparation, collective strength, and a fighting spirit worthy of the national champion title throughout the competition. Congratulations for an outstanding performance!
🥈 Second Place went to the team CSS1 Bucharest, which played with great determination and ambition, achieving spectacular matches and a meritorious placement on the podium.
🥉 Third Place was occupied by Crișul Oradea, a team that impressed with courage, unity, and a positive attitude towards any opponent.
In addition to the team awards, the competition also highlighted some remarkable individual performances:
- Best Goalkeeper: Niță Nicole - for her extraordinary reflexes, defensive security, and decisive contribution to her team's success.
- Best Coach: Rus Viorel - for his professionalism, strategy, and ability to guide the team towards maximum performance.
- Top Scorer of the competition: Gordan Lorena - for her excellent finishing instinct and impressive number of goals scored.
