Zvezda leads 3:0, Radnicki turns the game around to take the lead in the semifinal series

The water polo team Radnicki took the lead in the semifinal series of the Super League of Serbia playoffs by defeating Red Star 15-12 in the first match played tonight in Kragujevac after turning the game around. The rematch is scheduled for Wednesday at 4:30 PM at Banjica, and the team that first reaches two victories will advance to the final.
Radnicki entered this match emotionally drained after a big victory over the Mladost team (15-8) and securing a spot in the European Cup final. Additionally, they were weakened by the absence of three regular players - goalkeeper Radoslav Filipović, center Nikola Murišić, and Georgian goal scorer Valik Dadvani. On the other hand, Zvezda took advantage of having more time to prepare for this match and quickly gained a surprising three-goal lead in the first quarter through goals from Lukas Seman, Kristian Šulc, and Miloš Vukićević, leading 3-0 after the first quarter.
However, as they have done several times this season, Radnicki turned the game around in the second quarter, where they scored seven goals to lead 7-4 at halftime. They controlled the game in the continuation, and had a convincing 13-8 lead five and a half minutes before the end.
The top scorer in the winning team was Lazar Vićković with three goals, followed by Nemanja Stanojević, Filip Janković, Bogdan Gavrilović, and Boris Vapenski with two each. On the other side, Aleksandar Radanović, Miloš Vukićević, Lukas Seman, Kristian Šulc, and Bojan Banićević also scored two goals each.
