The National U16 Women's Championship ends in Oradea, and the "UniCredit" National Girls' League continues the show in the pool - the Senior Women's matches are streamed live on YouTube - Romanian Water Polo Federation
Oradea once again becomes the capital of women's water polo this weekend, as Crișul Pool hosts two important competitions: the IV Tournament of the National U16 Women's Championship and the VI Tournament of the "UniCredit" Girls' League, taking place between April 11 and 13, 2025.
The event brings together some of the most promising young players in the country, as well as established athletes from the National League, in a marathon of spectacular matches. The award ceremony for the U16 category will take place on Saturday, April 12, at 17:00, marking the end of the season for this age group.
Behind each match are hours of training, ambition, and the desire of these young athletes to make a name for themselves at the national level. The National U16 Women's Championship has been a stepping stone for many players who will soon move on to the junior national teams and, subsequently, to the senior national team. Meanwhile, the "UniCredit" Girls' League continues with its course, reaching its VI Tournament. The competition dedicated to senior women provides an essential space for the players' sporting continuity.
All matches of the "UniCredit" National League are streamed live on the official YouTube channel of the Romanian Water Polo Federation, offering fans and families the chance to follow the teams' progress from anywhere in the country or abroad.
