C M – Bellator wins again away: Zero9 defeated 5-6

Second consecutive away victory for Bellator Frusino. The team from Ciociaria prevails 5-6 against Zero9 and conquers the facility of the capital city club. With this win, the team coached by Mirko Spaziani reaches 9 points, with three wins in four matches played. The match report describes a balanced and tense game where defenses outperform the offenses. The first quarter ends 2-2, while at half-time Bellator leads 3-2. The third quarter favors the home team, which catches up and surpasses Bellator Frusino. However, the final quarter belongs entirely to the Ciociari, who catch up and surpass the capital city team, closing the game by a slim margin at 5-6. Captain Simone Onida scores a hat-trick, with Benedetto Ceci, Massimo Perna, and Federico Parrini each contributing a goal.

This is coach Mirko Spaziani's comment at the end of the match: "Three very important points on a very difficult field where it will be tough for everyone to earn the prize. It was a balanced match, we worked well defensively, conceding little to our opponents. We fell behind for the second time this season; in the home match against Lanciano we didn't react well, but today we reacted and turned the match around with a true team performance. We know where we need to focus during the week, we know there is still much work to be done, and we will continue to do it, but we are very pleased to have created a real group capable of reacting to adversity as a team. We will be ready for the next challenge that will see us face Aqvaroma."

Following are the statements from Luca Prioreschi, Center-forward of Bellator Frusino: "A difficult victory on a never-easy field like Zero9's, but fundamental for morale and not losing ground compared to the top teams. Despite the unjust expulsion of our captain (three ejections at the end of the third quarter), we managed to find the energy and conviction to bring it home. This is the character needed to win matches like this. Now we face another very important week, leading up to the clash against Aqvaroma. We must train with intensity and work hard to improve our man-up situations and correct the tactical and technical errors we still make. Every match and every training session are crucial for growth and being prepared for the next challenge. This victory is for Federico. We await you."
