Spain-USA, high-voltage debut in the Women's World Cup in Greek waters
Spain debuts this Tuesday against the United States (14:00h) in Division 1 of the Women's Water Polo World Cup in Alexandroupolis (Greece). This competition has three main attractions: 1- The return of the current Olympic champions to the big competition; 2- The new era of Jordi Valls as the Spanish women's national team coach; 3- And the fight for one of the six spots in the World Cup Super Final.
Eight Olympians will be in action, such as Martina Terré, Bea Ortiz, Paula Leitón, Elena Ruiz, Nona Pérez, Isa Piralkova, Paula Crespí, and Paula Camus, along with eight new faces, including Mireia Guiral, Elia Jiménez, Daniela Moreno, Alba Muñoz, Carlota Peñalver, Paula Prats, and Ariadna Ruiz.
