Collegiate Water Polo Association Releases 2024 Week 9/November 14 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 & Division III Top 10 Polls

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2024 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 9/November 14 Polls.

Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for either the National Collegiate Club Championship or the Division III Collegiate Club Championship.

2024 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 9/November 14)

2022, 2023 and 2024 Men’s National Collegiate Club Champion the University of California-San Diego completes its season at No. 1 in the Week 9/November 14 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Poll.

The Southwest Division Champion, UC-San Diego (100 points) defeated Sierra Pacific Division Champion California Maritime Academy (95 points) over the weekend at the University of Florida‘s O’Connell Center to capture the 2024 men’s collegiate club championship.  The Keelhaulers move up to No. 2, while Pacific Coast Division Champion California Polytechnic State University (90 points) drops back to No. 3.

The University of California (83 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (81 points), the University of California-Santa Barbara (75 points), the University of California-Davis (70 points) and San Diego State University (65 points) take over at No. 4-to-8, respectively, with New England Division Champion Boston University (60 points) and Atlantic Division Champion the University of Virginia (55 points) attaining the No. 9 and 10 spots.

Florida Division Champion Florida (50 points) slips back to No. 11 with Texas Division Champion Texas A&M University (45 points), previously unranked Washington University in St. Louis (40 points), Rocky Mountain Division Champion the University of Colorado (35 points) and Mid-Atlantic Division Champion Pennsylvania State University (30 points) rating at No. 12-to-15.

Northwest Division Champion the University of Oregon (25 points) falls to No. 16 with the trio of Michigan State University (12 points), New York Division Champion the United States Military Academy (12 points) and Big Ten Division Champion the University of Michigan (12 points) tying at No. 17.

The University of Texas (8 points) concludes the Top 20 by courtesy of taking the final berth.

2024 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 9/November 14)

Washington University in St. Louis maintains the top spot in the 2024 Week 9/November 14 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Poll.

A seven-time Division III Collegiate Club National Champion and the 2024 Great Lakes Division Champion, Washington (99 points) leads a Top 10 poll which experiences no changes with the University of California-Santa Cruz (95 points), Tufts University (91 points), Augustana College (83 points), the United States Coast Guard Academy (79 points), Amherst College (78 points), New York University (69 points), Bowdoin College (65 points), Colby College (59 points) and Middlebury College (35 points) following at No. 2-to-10, respectively.
