A1 M - The Training Academy Olympic Roma does not hold the Quinto: ends 4-8

Training Academy Olympic Roma - S.C. Quinto 4-8 (0-2, 0-4, 1-0, 3-2)

The Training Academy Olympic Roma never manages to get into the game and loses 4-8 against S.C. Quinto. In the 5th round of the Serie A1 championship, coach Mario Fiorillo's team does not approach the match well and ends up succumbing to the Ligurians' game. The extremely low percentage in man-up situations weighs on the course of the match. No dramas, let's continue to work: next Saturday, November 16, a heated derby against Roma Vis Nova is scheduled in Monterotondo.

The Match Report

Quinto starts strong at the Ostia Pool, with their usual heavy style of play, a trademark of many Ligurian clubs. The Training Academy Olympic Roma fails to respond and begins to repeatedly miss opportunities in man-up situations. In the first two periods, Captain Mirarchi and his teammates never manage to seriously threaten the white and red's goalkeeper: the score reads 0-6 at the halftime break.

Mario Fiorillo reprimands his team during the long break, and the Olympic team enters the water with a different determination. The defense improves its performance, and De Robertis scores the first goal for the home team, 1-6, precisely in a man-up situation. However, it's only an illusion: in the fourth quarter, nothing changes as Quinto extends their lead to 1-8, dampening any hope of a comeback for Olympic. Only in the final minutes, goals from Mirarchi, Leporale, and Kadar soften the outcome. It ends 4-8, onto the next challenge.
