Overview
San Jose Almaden Water Polo is a non-profit, charitable organization (USA Water Polo Club #1224) focused on developing water polo in the San Jose area. The mission of SJA is to improve individual fundamentals and to provide national, elite level competition. The coaching staff works hard to help each athlete improve every day. We strive to foster a passion for the sport, as well as a high level of commitment and drive. SJA is a program that develops the fundamentals (swimming, eggbeater, ball control, body positioning, etc.), improves conditioning, and teaches game situation tactics to all athletes at their level. Our coaching staff believes in developing a positive team culture that will develop important character traits and values both in and out of the pool.
