C M – Busto falls in the first playoff match, but the ending is to be written
The match in Milan ends 8-9, coach Crespi encourages the boys: «We will be more concrete»
The first playoff match is negative for Busto Pallanuoto Paglini Store, but the verdict is still to be written for the team that led almost the entire Serie C championship. A narrow defeat, 8-9, marked by a an uncertain start which saw the light of the comeback - later appeased by Mestrina - in the third half.
The match was at home, but had to be played at the Bocconi Center in Milan due to the unavailability of Manara Sartori. Next Saturday we go to Veneto instead.
«We played quite well – comments the coach – Then we missed the 2-0 with the penalty at the start, they pressed us. We were very good at recovering and taking the lead, but in the fourth half a couple of expulsions, perhaps a little dubious, they were good at finishing them off."
In Busto we saw a little too much enthusiasm, while what was missing was the ability to deliver, even when we had the extra man. A difference that was paid for with the defeat, albeit a narrow one. «But we will be more concrete – says the coach – and the result is more than open».
