Strahinja Krstić left Partizan and joined Novi Beograd
Serbian junior national team player and the best player and top scorer of the World Championship for players under 18, Strahinja Krstić, is a new addition to Novi Belgrade, club director Slobodan Soro confirmed.
Krstić is the third Partizan player who left Banjica this summer and joined Novi Beograd, as Luka Gladović and Marko Dimitrijević, equally talented representatives of our country, did the same before him.
- We have agreed all the details with Partizan regarding the bringing of Strahinja Krstović - says VK Novi Beograd president Slobodan Soro for the club's website and adds:
– This is another extremely talented player who will be part of our new project of rejuvenating the team and changing the concept of the game. Strahinja Krstić, who was the best player of the World Junior Championship, will thus join Vasilij Martinović, Luka Gladović and Viktor Urošević in this New Belgrade team, who also won MVP awards at major competitions.
Soro emphasizes that Novi Beograd managed to create an excellent combination of youth and experience in the team and reiterated that the ambitions will continue to be the highest possible:
– We have excellent working conditions, a very professional coaching staff, and that is why I am convinced that the results will not fail. In addition to the previously mentioned players, I would also like to mention Vučinić, Lukić and Trtović, who will have the opportunity to develop as players alongside the experienced Ćuk and Vlahopulos, progress and gather valuable experience, which is of invaluable importance, which is why our senior national team will certainly benefit in the very near future. – concluded Soro.
