The captain left Zvezda: Dušan Marković is the new reinforcement of Stari Grad
The previous captain of Crvena zvezda, Dušan Marković, will defend the colors of Stari Grad in the new season, reports Sport Klub.
The experienced 34-year-old water polo player, formerly a member of the national team of Serbia, and now of Kazakhstan, told this portal that he had several offers from abroad, but in the end he became the third water polo player of Crvena zvezda to join Stari Grad this summer, as before him, the blue and white cap was worn by Gavril Subotić and Nikola Bursać.
– I had some offers from abroad. We couldn't come to an agreement. I will play for Stari Grad at least until January. If there is a chance, I might change the middle. Otherwise, I will stay in the Belgrade club - says the 34-year-old defender.
In addition to the three of them, Zoran Mijalkovski's team was strengthened by Danilo Krivokapić, Nikola Giga, Vuk Vitorović, Danilo Rajević, and the contracts were extended by Mateja Asanović, Matija Tonković, Aleksa Nešić, Dragan Marjanović, Aleksandar Marković, Nikola Nikolov, Temirlan Balfanbajev. Goalkeeper Lazar Milosavljević arrived from Dorćol, and 16-year-old Antonio Marković joined the first team from the younger categories.
