At 7pm in Certaldo the confrontation with the Tuscans
The decisive moment of the season arrives for Rari Nantes Bologna.
Tomorrow evening at 7 pm, at the Fiammetta swimming pool in Certaldo, Antonio Viola's team takes to the pool for match 1 of the promotion final.
Having closed the regular season in the Emilia-Marche group in first place, Francesco Sgobbi and his teammates are expected tomorrow evening for the first leg match at the home of Certaldo Nuoto, a team that finished the Tuscan-Ligurian group in second place.
A match that is played out with a view to the double match taking place between Certaldo and Rari Nantes, with the Bolognese team wanting to continue dreaming of promotion to Serie B.
The goal is now within reach, with the Florentines representing the last obstacle towards a historic goal.
The challenge against Certaldo is presented by coach Antonio Viola
First of all, how are you? What is the condition of the team?
"Well, we're excited, the boys are eager to play for this playoff, they've earned it."
The season is played in two matches, i.e. 64 minutes of play, for the home and away legs. What challenges do you expect in Certaldo?
"Obviously the playoff formula with double home and away matches can hide some pitfalls, but we'll see after this Saturday, let's just stay focused on tomorrow's match."
Do you know Certaldo, what news do you have about our next opponents?
“They are a young team with the addition of some experienced players, we know that they played a good championship; we are eager to compete with them".
