Serbian juniors defeated Germany and qualified for the quarter-finals of the EP
The junior water polo team of Serbia qualified for the quarter-finals of the European Championship in Burgas, having finished the group stage with all three victories, and in the third round they beat Germany convincingly 10:4.
Miloš Korolija's selection thus ensured direct placement in the quarterfinals, and will be free on Wednesday, and a day later they will fight for the semifinals.
The Germans, led from the bench by Serbian expert Nebojša Novoselac, put up a strong resistance, but Serbia had the upper hand all the time. At halftime it was 4:2 for Serbia, in the third part the Germans reduced the score through Kovači, and then Gladović and Đokanović brought an advantage that was unattainable for the rival.

Spain, Hungary and Greece secured direct qualification to the quarter-finals, while on Wednesday, in the round of 16, Montenegro - Netherlands, Italy - Romania, Germany - Bulgaria and Croatia - Turkey will fight for placement among the top eight.
