Rari Nantes signs Slovakian Nela Mesterova
Third transfer of the season for Rari Nantes Bologna.
The company chaired by Rosa Gambardella has in fact, the very young Slovakian Nela Mesterova has been signed up for next season.
Born in 2006, the Slovakian player has considerable experience at national and international level.
At club level with KVP Kupele Piestany she has won many youth championships, while with the Slovakian national team she has participated in European and World championships, including the 2024 European Senior Championships in Eindhoven and the Under 19 Championships in Zagred.
Nela Mesterova was particularly keen to greet the club, teammates and water polo fans with her first statements.
“Hello everyone, I am very proud to be part of Rari Nantes Bologna, I will do my best to help the team reach our goals, see you soon”
Words that testify Mesterova's great desire to test herself in a demanding and difficult championship like the women's A2 water polo series, but also the help that the eighteen-year-old will be able to give to the team.
"First of all I would like to thank Cinzia Ragusa who pointed out the girl's qualities - confirmed president Rosa Gambardella - Nela is a very interesting prospect, I am convinced that with us she will be able to grow from a personal point of view, but be very useful to coach Andrea Posterivo right from the start".
