Bronze medal for our National Team, show of strength with Croatia (18-8)
Girls for a kiss... The players of Eftychia Karagiannis proved in an emphatic way that they belong to the elite of Europe. Our National Youth Women's Water Polo team (U19) won the bronze medal in the European championship, which concludes today, Saturday (31/8), in Zagreb, after prevailing with typical Croatian comfort with 18-8.
The Greek group turned the match against the hosts of the competition into a show for a role and took revenge for the defeat with 13-14, in the context of the third matchday of Group A, on Tuesday (27/8).< /p>
Our internationals laid the foundations for their eventual victory in the first half, when they took a four-goal lead (7-11), while in the next two eight minutes they showed strength. In another game there was a plurality in attack for our representative group, as nine players scored, with Karabetsu scoring five goals, followed by Tricha with four.
