Nemanja Ličanin determined the squad for the Cadet World Championship
On Tuesday, June 18, the World Championship for water polo players under the age of 16 will begin in Malta, and the coach of the Serbian national team, Nemanja Ličanin, has determined the list of players for that competition. Serbia is in group A, with China, Peru and Colombia.
They are: Mihailo Gošić (Sava), Luka Muksinović (Vojvodina), Luka Urošević (Sava), Luka Drobnjaković (Vojvodina), Uroš Rahpejma (Banjica), Strahinja Arsenović (Sava), Luka Anđelić (Banjica), Nikola Pavlović (Sava), Viktor Vasić (Sava), Luka Vojinović (Sava), Vuk Vasiljević (Banjica), Andrej Mićić (Sava), Strahinja Nešković (Banjica), Miroslav Jakovljević – Jugović (Sava) and Uroš Munćan (Novi Belgrade).
The coaching staff includes selector Nemanja Ličanin, coaches Đorđe Popović and Dejan Božić, doctor Miodrag Nastić, and team leader Goran Čanković, as well as referee Rastko Prlić.
- It is a tradition that we always go for the highest ranking. There will be seven national teams at the tournament, each of which can beat each other. Our big test should be a duel with the Hungarians, the European champions in the quarter-finals - said coach Ličanin.
