2024 Men’s Collegiate Club Liberty Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2024 Men’s Collegiate Club Liberty Division schedule.
Formerly known as the Mid-Atlantic “B” Division prior to acquiring its current moniker in 2023, the grouping is now comprised of Binghamton University, Bloomsburg University, Bucknell University, Drexel University, the University of Delaware and West Chester University and will contest the ninth season of Mid-Atlantic “B”/Liberty Division competition in 2024.
The division championship has previously been claimed by Delaware (2015, 2016), Lehigh University (2021), Saint Joseph’s University (2019) and West Chester (2017, 2018, 2022, 2023). The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Competition begins on Saturday-Sunday, October 12-13, at Drexel in Philadelphia, Pa., as the teams meet in 12 games. Due to pool time constraints, teams will have only one time-out per half, and if games are tied at the end of regulation, overtime will be sudden death during games on October 12.
The regular season concludes on Saturday-Sunday, October 26-27, at Bloomsburg in Bloomsburg, Pa., as the teams meet in another 12-game weekend to establish the final seeding for the Liberty Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, November 16-17, at West Chester in West Chester, Pa. The division championship is the terminal event for the division as the division champion does not advance to the Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship.
