A1 F – Another market coup: Carolina Ioannou arrives at Lazio Nuoto!
The market continues for the first team of Lazio Nuoto, just promoted to the women's A1 series championship. After the strong centerforward Lalelei Mata’afa, coach Iacopo Spagnoli’s roster is further enriched with the arrival of Carolina Ioannou, a great player with a past in the ranks of Ekipe Orizzonte Catania, Rapallo and Ethnikos Piraeus. In her career she won the Scudetto twice with Ekipe Orizzonte, the Coppa Italia three times between Rapallo and Ekipe, two LEN Cups (Ekipe and Ethnikos) and a European Super Cup, always in Catania. Without forgetting the run of the youth national teams in Italy and the 2nd place at the Universiade in 2019 with the blue cap.
