Greece's National Team Takes First Place, Beats Germany 26-4 and Advances to Quarterfinals
"Three out of three" for our National Under-16 Girls' Water Polo Team, securing a spot in the quarterfinals of the European championship in Istanbul.
The team coached by Argyris Theodoropoulos clinched the top spot in Group B, remaining undefeated by effortlessly defeating Germany 26-4 on Sunday (29/6). The next opponent for the Greek team will be determined by the knockout matches scheduled for tomorrow (30/6).
The game was a display of strength by our National Team, showcasing their abilities from the very first minutes. Noteworthy was the variety in the attack, with twelve players scoring and Papadopoulou netting the most goals (four).
