Sandro Sukno is once again the champion of Italy - Croatian Water Polo Federation
Pro Recco overturned Brescia's initial lead of 1-0 after the first game of the Serie A final, and on Tuesday late night in the third game in Brescia, they won for the second time, thus securing their second victory and clinching another title of Italian champions.
The final score was Brescia - Pro Recco 5:9 (0:3, 1:4, 2:0, 2:2).
For Pro Recco, this is their 37th title as champions of Italy, and for the Croatian coach, it is his 12th trophy since taking over the helm of this club in the summer of 2021. So far, Sukno has won with Pro Recco, only as a coach, 2 Champions Leagues, 4 Italian championship titles, 3 Italian Cups, and 3 European Super Cups.
It is worth mentioning that Pro Recco is also in the Euro Cup final. They will play the return leg at home against Radnički next Saturday. In Kragujevac, Sukno's team won 16:12.
