A2 F – Rari Nantes 2 more confirmations
Alisia Ruggiero and Chiara Lelli still at the court of coach Posterivo
They are the present and given their young age they are also the future of Bologna water polo.
We are talking about Alisia Ruggiero and Chiara Lelli, 2 players who play between the first team and the youth sector, giving their fundamental contribution to the excellent results obtained both at senior level, with second place and playoff semifinal reached, and at youth level.
Rari Nantes Bologna starts again from its young players and from the desire to grow that they have demonstrated, with commitment, sacrifice, determination, desire that they have also put into the long, intense, but at the same time rewarding season that has recently been archived.
Let's start with Alisia Ruggiero to whom, like her teammates, we asked a few questions ...
Hi Alisia, what do you expect from the new season on a personal and team level?
“Personally, I expect to continue my technical growth and to make my contribution as much as possible with the grit and stubbornness that brought me to Bologna also for the next competitive season. As for the team, I am convinced that, despite the changes that will take place, it will always remain a group ready to fight for a common goal”.
You and Rari continue to grow, what will be the goals for next year?
“The main goal is to continue to grow and try to aspire to the best without setting limits”.
Taking stock of the season that just ended, how do you judge it?
“Last season I experienced it as a springboard to aspire to ever greater goals, it was not easy to deal with the distance from home, school and sports commitments but I am fully satisfied and ready to face a new season with the determination that characterizes me”.
Here are Chiara's answers Lelli.
What do you expect from the new season for you too, Chiara?
“Obviously I hope that the new season will bring Rari satisfaction and a few more victories than this year, which means personal improvement, but also as a team, all supported by greater motivation to always be there, for themselves and for everyone”.
Objectives?
“I hope it will be a successful season for Rari. In the new season, which is my first as a university student, I hope to be able to give my best, ensuring an even greater presence in training and a winning collaboration with my teammates, with the hope of achieving the goal of a new promotion to A1”.
Finally, a review of the past year?
“For me, the year just ended was very difficult with the final exams just around the corner and a result to bring home because for me school has always been very important. I didn't play much, maybe also for this reason, but I lived with my teammates all the expectations related to the results obtained and I still believe that having come within a whisker of promotion to A1 was a good result".
