TOMO has started, the opening ceremony on Tuesday - Croatian Water Polo Federation

In Dubrovnik, on Easter Monday, April 21, the water polo tournament for the youngest, named TOMO, has started. The tournament is played in memory and honor of Toma Udovičić, the legendary coach of Dubrovnik's Jug, who has trained hundreds of children and young people in Croatian south in water polo.

The 13th edition of the TOMO tournament has gathered this year more than 1,000 young water polo players literally from all over the world. Specifically - from 62 teams coming from 19 countries of Europe, Asia, and Africa.

On the first day, spectators enjoyed thrilling matches of ages up to 12 and 14 years. During Monday, 30 matches were played, and 28 games are planned for Tuesday.

Moreover, the grand opening of the TOMO tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, at 9:00 p.m., when more than 2,000 people will gather at the pool in Gruš. The tournament will be opened by the Mayor of Dubrovnik, Mato Franković, and the entrance for visitors is free.

TOMO is not just a competition - it is an international festival of children's water polo that promotes friendship, sports culture, and unity.
