Croatia defeated Spain for the OI semifinals

The Croatian water polo team is the first semi-finalist of the Olympic tournament in Paris, as it deservedly beat Spain, one of the main favorites for Olympic gold, by 10:8.
Croatia got off to a great start, leading 2:0 after eight minutes of play. Spain reduced the score, then left-handed goal scorer Konstantin Harkov retaliated for 3:1, and then the Spaniards came close to a goal minus once again. In the following minutes, a series of world champions followed with three goals in a row and a lead of 6:2. From that, Spain could not recover and repeat the result from the final of the European Championship in Zagreb, when they were better than Croatia.
David Martin's men reduced the gap, but they failed to create uncertainty and, most importantly, win the desired result.
Croatia awaits the winner of the Italy-Hungary duel in the semi-finals.
