Margaret Plevritou: "From 2012 to the Olympic Games in Paris, the National Team was my life"

Statements to the Hellenic Swimming Federation were made by Margarita Plevritou, after being honored at the Aquawards held at the EOE event hall.

Margarita Plevritou's statements

“It was a great honor for me to receive this award. I am proud to have been a member of the National team all these years. I am very happy for everything we achieved over the years with my teammates.

I want to thank all the people I collaborated with and who were by my side during this beautiful journey. From 2012 until the Olympic Games in Paris, the National Team was my life”.

On life without the National Team:

“It's a bit strange, but certainly has reduced stress.

The first time I saw Vaso going for practice with the National Team, I said "I stay here now". It was a very strange feeling. However, whenever something ends, something new begins”.

On the future of water sports:

“It brings me great joy to have a Federation with so many successes. I am very happy to have been a member and I see children with appetite, talented for work, having so many successes at such a young age”.
