Spain's call-up to compete in the women's World Cup in Alexandropolis
Our senior women's water polo team is finalizing preparations at the CAR de Sant Cugat for the first phase of the women's World Cup to be held in Alexandropolis (Greece). The team led by Jordi Valls will start its participation on January 14th in Greek lands in a tough Group A (Greece, United States, Hungary, and Spain itself). The first match, against the USA on 01/14 at 15:00 Central European Time.
For the first official event of the year, Valls has called up the following water polo players: Paula Camús, Paula Crespí, Alba Muñoz, Nona Pérez, Ariadna Ruiz, Elena Ruiz, and Martina Terré (CN Sant Andreu), Martina Clavería, and Mireia Guiral (Assolim CN Mataró), Paula Leitón, and Bea Ortiz (Astralpool CN Sabadell), Elia Jiménez, and Carlota Peñalver (CE Mediterrani), Daniela Moreno (Zodiac CN At. Barceloneta), and Paula Prats and Isabel Piralkova (CN Terrassa).
