Strahinja Krstic named best young athlete by the Sports Association of Belgrade
Serbian junior national team player, Strahinja Krstic, has been named the most successful young athlete in the under-20 category at the Belgrade Sports Association ceremony.
The water polo player from Novi Beograd, who has worn the cap of Partizan for years, won a silver medal this summer with the junior team at the World Championship in Buenos Aires, where he was named the tournament's best player.
The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Đorđe Perišić, an Olympic champion and longtime sports official, who won six European champion titles with Partizan.
VK Novi Beograd was named the most successful club, current champion and winner of the Serbian Cup, champion of the Regional League, and participant in the Champions League final tournament.
