2025 Princeton University Women’s Water Polo Schedule
PRINCETON, N.J. – The 2023 and 2024 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Champion Princeton University women’s water polo team announced its 2025 schedule.
“We’re excited for the year ahead—there’s a lot of talent and potential on this team,” said head coach Derek Ellingson. “The fall has been a great start, but to reach our goals, the spring will require even more hard work and dedication. We have a lot of talent on this team, now it’s about translating that talent into hard work in the practice pool and on game day.”
The Tigers begin the season with the Princeton Invitational on January 24 versus La Salle University (5:30 p.m.). Head coach Derek Ellingson‘s crew takes on Mount St. Mary’s University and Marist College on January 25 before finishing the invite against Wagner College on January 26.
Princeton heads on the road to take on Brown University (February 7) before participating in the Harvard Invitational (February 8-9) at Harvard University. The Tigers continue a road stretch with games versus Bucknell University, the University of Michigan and Saint Francis University at Harvard and Brown on February 22-23.
March gets started with the annual Spring Break West Coast trip at Loyola Marymount University (March 8), Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (March 12) and the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) (March 13). The trip ends with the San Diego State University Invitational on March 14-15.
Ellingson’s unit welcomes Iona University to DeNunzio Pool on March 19 before more CWPA action against Brown, Harvard (March 29) and Mercyhurst University (March 30) at home. Princeton heads to Michigan to take on Mercyhurst, Saint Francis and the host Wolverines (April 5-6) as the calendar turns to April.
The regular season finishes at Bucknell University (April 12) and against Wagner at home (April 16) prior to the CWPA Championship slated for April 25-27 at Brown.
