Dušan Mandić candidate for the best player in Europe in 2024
The goal scorer of the Serbian national team and Hungarian Ferencvaroš, Dušan Mandić, is a candidate for the best player in Europe for this year in the selection of the European Aquatics Federation.
With the Hungarian club, Mandić won the title of European champion, and then with the national team, he won gold at the Olympic Games in Paris, where he was named the best player of the tournament.
He emerged in Primorac, then spent five seasons at Partizan, six at Pro Rek, two at Novi Beograd, and since last year, he has been a member of Hungarian Ferencvaroš, with whom he won the European championship title in Malta in June. Before that, he was a European champion with both Partizan and Pro Rek. With the national team, he has won everything that can be won, with the most significant being three Olympic gold medals.
In addition to the Serbian water polo player, the candidates for this prestigious award are Alvaro Granados, Soma Vogel, Marko Bijač, and Loren Fatović, with the announcement scheduled for January.
