USC’s Andrej Grgurevic Earns CSC Academic All-America Third Team Honors
The only men's water polo to appear on the 2023-24 CSC Academic All-America At-Large list, Grgurevic boasts a 3.62 GPA as an accounting & finance major at USC. A native of Sydney, Australia, Grgurevic helped the Trojans reach a 19th straight NCAA Tournament after winning the 2023 MPSF Tournament championship. An All-MPSF Honorable Mention recipient and an MPSF Player of the Week award in his sophomore season, his academic accolades also include spots on the ACWPC All-Academic, MPSF Scholar-Athlete and Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll lists for 2023-24.
Grgurevic follows in the footsteps of three other USC men's water polo players to earn Academic All-America honors as Trojans: Brendan Grubbs (1997-80 Third Team), Matt Burton (2012-13 Second Team) and Mihajlo Milicevic (2015-16 Second Team, 2016-17 Third Team).
The CSC Academic All-America At-Large category includes athletes from the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo and wrestling.
