Big "double" by GS Peristeriou in Alimos, beating AEK 13-10
GS Peristeriou clinched a very important victory at the Alimos swimming pool, prevailing 13-10 against AEK in the 10th matchday of Group B in the Men's A1 Water Polo Championship.
Right from the start of the match, Peristeriou had control and the lead, ending the first half with a +3 advantage over AEK (3-6). After the break, AEK reacted and narrowed the gap to one goal (8-10), but that was not enough to achieve a better outcome. The players of coach Kostas Paslis regained their three-goal lead in the final period, securing a final score of 13-10.
Top scorer for the winning team was Aleuridis with four goals, while Stellatos stood out for the home team with five goals. This is the second consecutive victory for the team from the western suburbs, while AEK remains without any points after 10 matches.
