Strong victory for Olympiacos against Panionios, 17-4 in Nea Smyrni
Another win added to Olympiacos' record in the 10th round of the Women's A1 Water Polo Championship, defeating Panionios 17-4 at the Nea Smyrni swimming pool.
Except for the first quarter, where the "red and whites" were very competitive and the score remained tied (2-2), Olympiacos had the upper hand in defense and attack. In fact, in the second period, the "red and whites" sent the lead to four goals (2-6), which they extended until the end of the match reaching the final score of 13-4.
The title of the top scorer for Dimitris Kravaritis' team was shared by Christodoulou and Santa with three goals each, while for the home team, Bitsakou stood out in scoring with two goals.
It is worth noting that at the beginning of the period, Maria Myriocephalitaki was expelled by the referees for substitution, due to dangerous play.
