A2 M – bitter ending once again for the Bogliasco boys

The tough period continues for the AGN Energia Bogliasco 1951 boys. Even in the fifth round of Serie A2, the white and blue team coached by Gimmi Guidaldi failed to avoid defeat, losing 11-10 away to Camogli. A painful KO, especially considering how it happened. Forced to chase throughout the game, Bogliasco staged a remarkable comeback, taking the lead less than two minutes before the end of the match. However, in the final moments, Camogli turned the tables, scoring the winning goal just ten seconds before the final buzzer.

Ultimately, the false start proved fatal for Bogliasco, allowing the home team to finish the first quarter ahead 3-0. It was only at the beginning of the second half that Boero and his teammates woke up thanks to a brace from Alessandro Bottaro, but Camogli responded with two goals of their own. The partial score favored the visitors as they approached halftime trailing by just two goals thanks to Jeremie Blanchard. The gap remained the same in the third quarter after the Canadian center forward replicated his earlier goal in response to Camogli's sixth goal. Camogli seemed to seal the deal by regaining a three-goal lead twice at the start of the fourth quarter, following Tim Biallo's temporary reduction to one goal. Nevertheless, the game was far from over. Bogliasco reacted vigorously and, with the double from the unstoppable Bottaro and single goals from Nicola Taramasco and Alessandro Canepa, dramatically equalized. Completing the comeback was Davide Broggi Mazzetti's strike, which seemed capable of changing the course of a game that appeared to be lost. However, the ending was anything but joyful for the white and blue team, who had to return home empty-handed.

The disappointment in Coach Guidaldi's words is understandable: "After a terrible start, we managed to take the lead, but a couple of mistakes and some wrong decisions penalized us in the end result. It's unfortunate because the spirit was right, and compared to previous matches, we showed signs of improvement, but in the end, we were not clear-headed enough. Now we close the year against Como, without making a fuss over a standings that doesn't smile at us. We knew it would be a tough championship, and the schedule hasn't helped us so far. Now it's time to start earning points, but we must not let our guard down, thinking that the upcoming matches will be easy."
