Continued undefeated for Olympiacos, 22-10 against NO Chania
Olympiacos maintained its unbeaten record in the Women's A1 National Water Polo Championship, defeating NO Chania 22-10 in Piraeus for the 8th round.
The home team started the game strong, quickly gaining a significant lead (4-1) in the first quarter. Although the visitors improved their performance later on, they couldn't overturn the situation, with the home team maintaining a comfortable lead (8-4) at the end of the second quarter. In the second half of the game, the "red and whites" stood firm and increased the gap, achieving an impressive victory with a score of 22-10.
Thus, Dimitris Kravaritis' team continues to lead the standings with 25 points. On the other hand, the team from Crete remains in 6th place with 12 points.
Ambi Andrews scored 5 goals, leading the scoring for the "red and whites", followed by Santa with 4 goals. For the visitors, Stratidaki found the net 4 times.
