Young Juniors on TV

On Saturday and Sunday (December 7 and 8), the 3rd and 4th rounds of the state championship for young juniors will be played, the penultimate two-round of this calendar year. One of the matches can be followed on HVS TV (YouTube channel of HVS).

It is a Saturday match of the 3rd round in Rijeka, where Primorje EB and Zadar 1952 will meet, starting at 2:00 PM. These are two teams currently at the bottom of the table, although after only two rounds. Rijeka is last without a point (just like Solaris and Galeb MR), while Zadar has 1 point.

However, two top derbies will be played in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. In Korčula, the host, namely KPK, will welcome the leading Medveščak, who have been unbeatable in this competition for over a year. Let's not forget that the Korčula team is very close, just one point behind.
In Dubrovnik, Jug Adriatic osiguranje hosts Mladost. Jug players are tied in points with Medveščak, and Mladost has only one point less. So, in this round, it might be expected that one of the teams at the top will start to separate slightly.

Especially in light of the 4th round matches (on Sunday) when four matches are scheduled in total, but again, two potentially great clashes, again in the southernmost county. There, two Zagreb clubs will simply exchange opponents, so the young Žapci will go to Korčula, and the Medvjedi will go to Gruž.

Lastly, a little curiosity related to the matches scheduled for Friday. All five matches will start at five different times, almost in the same intervals of every two hours. In Šibenik from 11:00 AM, then in Split from 12:00 PM (the only example where the starting times are not two hours apart), followed by Rijeka at 2:00 PM, Korčula at 4:00 PM, and finally in Dubrovnik at 6:00 PM.
