For the fifth match of the championship, on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm, the boys from Evomet Vela Nuoto Ancona will take the plunge in Turin, at the Monumentale swimming pool, against Torino 81, the leader with a full score. The home team is at 12 points on par with Chiavari, while Vela Ancona is at 3 points after their first seasonal victory earned last Saturday at the Passetto swimming pool against Milano Metanopoli. A rejuvenating victory for the dorics, which finally showed the true face of coach Marco Risso's team, one of fighting spirit, one that focuses on defense and intensity maintained throughout all four quarters. However, facing Torino will be an extremely tough challenge: "It really made me proud to see the team play that kind of match against Milano Metanopoli," says coach Marco Risso. "We were coming from a difficult week after the awful match in Piacenza, which we had managed to adjust in the end. Metanopoli came with important credentials and for us, it was almost a perfect match, between one period and the next I had almost nothing to say to the team, as I saw them united, in a trance, compact in defense, united in attack, helping each other in defense and spreading out in attack, drawing strength precisely from the defensive phase. It was really important for us, one of the most beautiful team demonstrations since I've been in Ancona, I really liked the spirit. I also coach to see these feelings of satisfaction in the players' eyes." However, now it's time for Torino: "We dive back into this very difficult championship," explains the Genoese coach leading the dorics. "I've seen Torino in the match in Bogliasco, I've coached them, I have a lot of friends there, it's a team and a club with traditions, which has grown year after year, always adding a piece, and aiming decisively for promotion. Surely we will play a good match, it's one of the most complicated, but I have seen the team well during the week, moreover, Torino is a team that plays with order, and order brings order and will make us play well."
