A2 M - Poker Rari: Giallorossi Beat Arechi in the Derby and Continue Perfect Start in the League
The Check-Up Rari Nantes Salerno continues to soar in the Serie A2 - South Group championship, achieving the fourth consecutive victory. In the city derby against Rari Nantes Arechi, the giallorossi prevailed with a clear 17-7 score, confirming their supremacy in this early stage of the season.

A match that never left doubts about the final outcome, with Rari being able to impose its rhythm practically throughout the match. The numerous audience at the "Simone Vitale" could witness a game rich in goals from the players coached by Christian Presciutti.

The challenge started with a determined start from the giallorossi, who thanks to Luongo and De Freitas immediately scored a partial of 2-0. Arechi tried to respond, but the first half ended with Rari leading 3-2, thanks to Andrea Fortunato's goal.

In the second quarter, Rari definitively took control, extending the lead with consecutive goals from De Freitas, De Simone, Sifanno, and Fortunato. The scoreboard read 7-3 at halftime, leaving a clear impression of only one team on the field.

The third period sealed the deal: De Freitas (scoring four goals in total), Gallozzi, Siani, Pica, and De Simone brought the score to 12-5.

The last quarter was purely academic for the Check-Up Rari Nantes Salerno, who closed the match with a final score of 17-7 thanks to goals from De Freitas, Pica, Siani, Luongo, and Chianese.

The contribution of the younger players who are increasingly integrating into the team's dynamics is still significant.

Satisfied coach Christian Presciutti, here are his words after the match, "A derby is always a special game that can hide pitfalls. The boys were good at facing it in the right way, focused from the beginning. We still have room for growth, and this is positive. We will try to recover the injured players ahead of the tough away match against Lazio."

NEXT APPOINTMENT

Check-Up Rari Nantes Salerno will return to the pool on Saturday, December 7th, at the Cupola in Rome (6:30 p.m.) to face Lazio, the only other team still with a perfect score alongside the giallorossi. A true big match for the top of the table is anticipated.
