With their aces, Rapallo secured the win at the Passetto pool; the Ligurians proved too strong with players like Galardi, Bianconi, and Marcialis, facing a valiant but overwhelmed Cosma Vela team. The game was mostly one-sided, with Coach Milko Pace's Cosma team putting in all their effort to try and contain the Ligurians. In the first period, Monterubbianesi put Cosma ahead, but Rapallo responded with goals from Galardi, Kudella on penalty, and Bianconi (1-3). Bartocci scored for Cosma, followed by Bianconi and Bianco twice - the second time in a power play - for a 2-6 score at the first break. In the second period, the Ligurians quickly added three goals through Galardi in a power play, Grasso on penalty, and Cabona, while Altamura scored in a power play for Cosma. Bianconi converted a penalty, and Ballesty closed the period with a score of 3-11. Galardi scored in the third period, answered by Monterubbianesi, then Rapallo had a minibreak with goals from Zanetta, Kudella, Marcialis, and two from Lombella - one on a penalty and the other in a power play (4-17). Altamura, Di Maria in a power play, and Monterubbianesi closed the third period with a score of 6-18. There was a flurry of goals in the last period: Zanetta on a penalty, Monterubbianesi in a power play, Galardi and Lombella scored for the Ligurians, Monterubbianesi for Cosma, followed by Zanetta again, Di Maria in a power play, Galardi, Lucignani, Bianco in a power play, and Marchetti for Cosma. Bianco scored right at the end for a final score of 9-27.
