The Ekipe Orizzonte's tour de force continues, as in less than twenty-four hours they will be facing another championship match.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 27, at 14:30, the team from Catania will face Pallanuoto Trieste at the Nesima swimming pool (CT).
It will be the early match of the seventh round of the Serie A1 women's water polo, a high-ranking challenge that will bring Martina Miceli's team back on the field only four days after the Champions League game played in Spain.
For the red and blue team, the past week has certainly not been easy, but after two setbacks both nationally and internationally, the Etna team wants to react and bounce back immediately, as explained by Ekipe Orizzonte's number 8 on the eve of the match against Trieste: "Certainly - Chiara Tabani said - the last games against Rapallo and Sant Andreu didn't go very well, because we played in a disorderly manner and constantly found ourselves chasing our opponents. However, I always say that every game and every defeat teach us something and, especially in the last match in Spain, we understood that we can give much more and do much better than what we have shown. We are on a growth path with a team that is quite renovated, so it can happen to stumble on some occasions during the season, but it is important to always know how to get back up and give our best in the next game, experiencing it as a battle in which to improve and grow together. Of course, we must avoid making the same mistakes over and over again and the attitude and the desire to grow and improve will be fundamental. I am also angry about our recent performances, but I also feel very positive about the future and I am happy to have the opportunity to play games like these together with my teammates. Tomorrow's match against Trieste, in fact, will be nice to play, because our opponents are strong also from a tactical point of view. Facing them will be fun and motivating, considering that they have not yet lost in the championship this season. The fact that we will challenge them at our home will be an extra reason to give our best and show our worth. Certainly, we will still make some mistakes, but it will be important to play with the right mindset. Therefore, we should not focus only on the result, because we are aware that we will get what we have shown and deserved."
