Pioneers of Partizan and Juniors of Košutnjak are the first winners of the "Milan Marjanović" Belgrade Trophy
Juniors of Košutnjak 1 and younger pioneers of Partizan 1 are the first winners of the Belgrade Trophy 2024 in water polo, which from this year bears the name of Milan Marjanović, a long-time water polo worker and secretary of VS Belgrade.
The final tournament for juniors (18-year-olds and younger) was played at Banjica, while the younger pioneers (12-year-olds) fought for the "Milan Marjanović" Trophy at "Pinki."
In addition to these tournaments, matches were played last week in Jesenje Beovalo for 14-year-olds and 16-year-olds.

As expected, Partizan 1 and Novi Beograd Vukovi reached the final of the Belgrade Trophy "Milan Marjanović" for younger pioneers.
The duel was similar to the one the finalists played in Division 1 (Partizan won 9:6 then). In the final, the rivals were separated by just three goals, but the teams were more efficient. Partizan 1 defeated the Vukovi 13:10.
TENT won the third, and Zemun 1 the fourth place.

Red Star withdrew from the competition
Belgrade Trophy "Milan Marjanović" for 18-year-olds (2007 and younger) – Banjica
Košutnjak 1, after securing a place in Division 1, added two more victories at the final tournament at Banjica and won the championship trophy.
The host of the "Final Six" had a tough time in the semifinals, where they faced Palilula. The guests were equal rivals and were often in the lead until halfway through the third quarter. Then Košutnjak 1 took control and secured a 17:14 victory.
There was not much suspense in the final, as Košutnjak 1 defeated NBG Vukovi 16:6. In the match for bronze, Red Star beat Palilula 14:12.

Belgrade and TENT qualified for the final tournament of the city competition, and tonight they will meet in a duel for a better starting position in the semifinals. The winner will face Vukovi in the semifinals, while the loser will play against Partizan 1.
